Mini Dart Goby

(Aioliops megastigma)

Provide an aquarium with plenty of rockwork for hiding as this is a small shy fish. House with other similarly sized and peaceful fish. Mini Dart Gobies are small and can be accidently sucked into aquarium filtration, be sure to cover intakes with sponge. Gobies are good jumpers so a tight fitting lid is also required. They can be kept singly but also do very well in small groups. Mini Dart Gobies are carnivorous and may require live foods when first introduced into the aquarium such as Oyster eggs, or freshly hatched Brine Shrimp.

Mini Dart Goby are also sometimes known as the Bigspot Mini Dartfish. Not often seen in the aquarium trade. The Mini Dart Goby have a blue body color with a yellow face and red back portion of his body. Mini Dart Goby can grow to almost 4".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
