BOPIS orders placed by 10:00 am PST Monday–Thursday are typically shipped same day for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 10:00 am PST are typically shipped the next scheduled shipping day. For dry goods orders that don't require next day shipping, we ship via FedEx Ground. Shipping days are Monday–Friday. BOPIS orders placed by 10:00 am PST Monday–Friday are typically shipped the same day. Orders placed after 10:00 am PST are typically shipped the next scheduled shipping day. Transit times range from 1 to 5 business days (Monday–Friday), with most locations 4 business days or less from our warehouse.
Since we ship very different types of products, each with their own unique characteristics, shipping speed requirements, and compatibility with each other, the checkout process blocks orders that can't ship together.
We monitor the weather closely to ensure safe delivery of your BOPIS order. If inclement weather is anticipated along your shipping route, we may delay shipping to ensure the health and wellbeing of aquatic life orders. Ground shipments are not normally affected by these weather restrictions, but carriers may experience shipping delays during extreme weather conditions.
Our goal is to ship all orders 100% complete. However, in the rare event an animal does not meet our shipping standards (or our inventory is incorrect), we will refrain from shipping it. If at least 75% of your order value consists of in-stock items, your order will be processed for shipping. We will modify your order total to reflect this change, and you will only be charged for the products we ship.
Due to the nature of these items, we cannot accept returns on aquatic life or frozen items. We do offer a BOPIS guarantee on live aquatic life, detailed below. If a frozen item is somehow defective, please contact the BOPIS dealer you picked up your order from for assistance.
