Eyebrow Barnacle Blenny

(Ekemblemaria myersi)

Ekemblemaria Blennies should be added to well established aquariums. Rock work should be provided for perching, hiding and grazing. They are typically found in the coastal shallows, prefer sandy or weedy bottoms and can be seen hiding in empty barnacles and tubes. Ekemblemaria Blennies are considered to be peaceful however, can become aggressive to other fish resembling their shape. May pick at benthic species if not provided ample food sources. Provide a diet of enriched meaty foods along with algae based foods. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.
