Tiger Combtooth Blenny

Ecsenius Blennies are sometimes referred to as Clown Blennies. Blennies should be added to well established aquariums. Rock work should be provided for perching, hiding and grazing. Ecsenius Blennies are considered to be easy and peaceful however, can become aggressive to other fish resembling their shape. If sufficient algae is not present supplement with algae based foods and algae matter. Males tend to be larger than females. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.

The Tiger Combtooth Blenny is also known simply as the Tiger Blenny. Rarely seen in the aquarium trade. Tiger Combtooth Blennies have an overall tan coloration and a white belly and face with black spots and short bars with white spots between them. Tiger Combtooth Blenny can grow to 2".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
