(Zoanthid sp.on Scleractinia)

Zoanthus Polyps should be added to well established aquariums with moderate water flow and lighting. Generally found near rocky rubble areas generally in bays or lagoons near the surface. Zoanthus Polyps receive the majority of their nutrients from photosynthesis, additional feedings of planktonic foods will benefit their health. Zoanthus Polyps do not tolerate copper medications. Zoanthus Polyps are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for and propagate as well as being reef safe. Zoanthus Polyps will spread out and reproduce easily, be sure to allow enough space between other corals. Corals will benefit from the addition of Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium and Trace Elements.

Golden Empire Colony Polyps may also be known as Button Polyps or Sea Mat Zoa's. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Colony Polyps are quite beautiful with a range of colors. However, the Golden Empire Colony Polyps are a yellow to gold color.
