Black Chip Sea Star

Nidorellia Sea Stars are typically found in temperate and cold waters of the northern hemisphere, particularly in the North Atlantic Ocean. They are often encountered in rocky or subtidal habitats, where they attach themselves to hard substrates such as rocks and shells. Like other Sea Stars, they are predatory and may capture small fish and invertebrates that come into contact with them. Nidorellia armata are also sometimes known as Black Chip Sea Stars. They are not often seen in the aquarium trade. Nidorellia armata are typically a tan color with black chip looking spots that cover their body. They can grow up to 9".
