Gnatholepis Gobies should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work, cracks, crevices, caves with a sand bed provided for hiding. Gnatholepis Gobies are small, easy to maintain and fit well in most reef aquariums. They are a sand sifter and will pick up mouths of sand looking for small invertebrates and organic matter. A diet of meaty and algae-based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Feed adult, fortified Brine shrimp and black worms if having difficulty enticing a feeding response. Gnatholepis Gobies tend to be shy and peaceful house with other peaceful tank mates. Provide a tight-fitting aquarium lid as Gobies may jump. Eyebar Sand-Sifting Goldspot Goby are also sometimes known as Gold Spotted Goby. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Eyebar Sand-Sifting Goldspot Gobys are mainly white, a thin dark stripe across its head running through its eyes, gold spot above its pectoral fin and brown to orange stripes. Eyebar Sand-Sifting Goldspot Goby can grow to a little over 3". We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
