Mud Reef Goby

Exyrias Gobies are small, hardy, peaceful and active fish that are perfect for nano aquariums. Provide an aquarium with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices for hiding if feeling threatenedd. Exyrias Gobies should be added to aquariums with a sand bed in order to scavenge for benthic invertebrates. Provide a diet rich in meaty prepared foods fed multiple times daily. If refusing to eat meaty prepared foods try small live enriched shrimp to entice a feeding response. House with other small, peaceful tank mates. Exyrias Gobies do best if housed singly or in pairs but should be added at the same time. Gobies are jumpers provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

Mud Reef Goby are also sometimes known as Beautiful Goby. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Mud Reef Gobys are a mottled brown color with white spots, light colored saddles on its back and red spots on its cheeks and fins. Mud Reef Goby can grow to a little over 6".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 50 gallons or larger for this species.
