Coco's Pygmy Angelfish

(Centropyge cocosensis)

Centropyge Angelfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work, caves, cracks and crevices should be provided for grazing and hiding. Centropyge Angelfish may pick at mobile and sessile invertebrates. A diet of marine meaty, angelfish and algae based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Care will need to be taken when handling Angelfish as they have cheeks pines, avoid using nets when handling. Centropyge Angelfish are hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives. May be territorial towards other Angelfish with the same shape, however if added to a large enough aquarium and at the same time Dwarf Angelfish may live harmoniously.

The Coco's Pygmy Angelfish is also known as the Coco's Lemonpeel Angelfish. This stunning and seldom seen Dwarf Angelfish very closely resembles the Lemonpeel Angelfish with its mainly yellow body color and stunning blue accents. Coco's Pygmy Angelfish can grow to 4".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 70 gallons or larger for this species.
