Ultra Micromussa Coral

Micromussa Corals should be added to well established aquariums with low water flow and moderate lighting. Generally found in lagoons or protected areas in shallow waters. Micromussa Corals are photosynthetic and receive the majority of their nutrients from lighting but will benefit from weekly feedings of a planktonic foods placed in the center of the coral as food is shared with other polyps. Micromussa Corals do not tolerate copper medications. Micromussa Corals are generally easy to care for and are considered reef safe however space should be given between other corals as they may become a bit aggressive. Corals will benefit from the addition of Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium and Trace Elements.

Micromussa Coral may also be known as a Micro Lords or Acans. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Micromussa Corals have a very wide range of colors and hues. Micromussa Coral colonies will have larger short polyps with rounded tips.

Water conditions: Salinity 1.023 - 1.025 Temp (F) 72 - 78, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Hardness 8 - 12 dKH
