The Pinktail Fairy Wrasse  is a peaceful, colorful reef fish that thrives in a mature aquarium with plenty of open swimming space, rock, and hiding places. Provide moderate to strong water movement, stable reef parameters, and a secure lid, as fairy wrasses are accomplished jumpers. Feed a varied diet of high-quality Gamma marine foods, including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and quality Nutramar pellets, offered several times throughout the day. It is generally reef-safe with corals and most invertebrates and can be kept with other peaceful wrasses and similarly sized community fish. A minimum aquarium size of around 50 gallons is recommended for an adult, with larger systems preferred for long-term care.
