Photo of the Week - Redtail Trigger

When people discuss "reef safe" Triggerfish, the Bluethroat Trigger is the one that always gets discussed, but a very similar fish exists, the Red Tail Trigger. While they do get a little bigger than their Azure-necked cousins, they are similar at home in the home mini-reef. They are easy to keep and are very engaging animals. They may, however, make snacks out of a clean-up crew, including the urchins.
