Mysteri White Bar Wrasse
The Mysteri White Bar Wrasse is a beautiful and active reef fish known for its elegant body shape, bright coloration, and distinctive pale markings. Native to the Indo-Pacific, this species typically displays greenish, blue, and yellow tones with light bars or markings that help it blend among reef environments. In the aquarium, Mysteri White Bar Wrasses require a mature tank of at least 75 gallons with plenty of open swimming space, rocks, and a deep sand bed where they can bury themselves at night or when stressed. They are active, hardy fish that appreciate stable water quality and a secure lid because wrasses are excellent jumpers. Their diet should include a variety of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped seafood, and quality marine pellets to support their energy needs. This wrasse is generally peaceful and reef-compatible, though it may prey on small ornamental shrimp, snails, and tiny invertebrates. It can be kept with other peaceful-to-semi-aggressive reef fish but should have enough space to establish a territory. With its constant movement, vibrant colors, and interesting hunting behavior, the Mysteri White Bar Wrasse makes a lively and attractive addition to larger marine aquariums.
