After being teased by TMC with a demo unit a few months ago, we've finally received inventory of the new Aquabeam 1500 XG Ultima LED light fixtures. This light was designed to service the needs of people not necessarily looking for high intensity focused light (often requiring multiple fixtures), but rather diffused and evenly spread light (requiring fewer fixtures). Perfect for fish-only or low light demand coral tanks, the 1500 XG is powered by 10 of the latest CREE XP-G PowerLED's running at a cool 'Ocean White' color of 9000K. What is most impressive about these LED's is the improvement in their efficiency. Using the same power supply as the 1000 HD units, the aquabeam 1500 XG Ultima puts out 52 percent more light than the 1000 HD!!

Mounting the 1500 XG is effortless using the various options available in the TMC Modular Mounting System. As with TMC's other LED lighting products the 1500 XG provides over 50,000 hours of light and comes with a 5 year guarantee. Perhaps the strongest selling point to these units is their efficiency as they have an extremely smaller energy cost than alternative lighting solutions such as Metal Halide's, Compact Fluorescent (PC), and even T5 lighting. These are a great way to help your customers reduce their carbon footprint!
