Giant Spider Crab

Generally found in the Indo-West Pacific Ocean from Andaman Sea to the Solomon Islands. Usually inhabiting coastal reefs among gorgonians and soft corals. Naxioides Crabs are carnivorous and may pick at or consume corals or other small invertebrates, be sure to provide a meaty based diet. It's essential to avoid using copper-based treatments in a tank with invertebrates, as it can harm them. Always follow the recommended guidelines for medication use in marine aquariums.

Naxioides robillardi Crabs are also sometimes called Giant Spider Crabs or Bull Hydroid Crabs. They are not often seen in the aquarium trade. Naxioides robillardi Crabs are beige or tan colored. They can grow up to 1-1/2".
