Green Banded Goby

Elacatinus Gobies are sometimes referred to as Neon Gobies. Neon Gobies are hardy and make great additions to a reef aquarium. They may set up a cleaning station waiting for willing participants to have external parasite or other debris removed. Provide an aquarium with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices. Elacatinus Gobies should be added to aquariums with a sand bed in order to scavenge for benthic invertebrates. Provide a diet rich in meaty prepared foods fed multiple times daily. House with other peaceful tank mates. Gobies are jumpers provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

Green Banded Goby are also sometimes known as Green Striped Goby. Not often found in the aquarium trade. Green Banded Goby has a white head, red line from its snout to after the gill plate, light green body and multiple vertical green stripes. Green Banded Goby can grow to a little over 2".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
