Sustainability is a core value here at Quality Marine and it has been throughout the companys history. For the long-term viability of our trade and for the health of our oceans, sustainability is essential. Quality Marine is an avid supporter of aquaculture efforts in the US and around the world. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that if there is an aquacultured fish or invertebrate available in the industry, it can be sourced through us. Now Quality Marine doesnt just source cultured livestockwe are bringing our very own aquacultured species to the industry!

Quality Marine is proud to announce that we have successfully cultured the Darwin Ocellaris Clownfish and the Darwin Misbar Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris). At first glance these two morphs may look identical, however, the Misbar has a break in either its middle or rear white bar. Either will make a dashing addition to your aquarium. Like most clownfish, the Darwins will create symbiotic relationships with anemones. The Darwin Clownfish is an omnivore that will eat a variety of prepared foods.

Culturing anything takes time and resources, and continued industry support is the only way that these facilities will continue to grow, become more efficient, and offer even wider varieties of specimens. Quality Marine is proud to the have these aquacultured clownfish available for our customers.
