The Phoenix Guppy is a colorful and active freshwater livebearer that thrives in a well-maintained community aquarium with stable, warm water temperatures and gentle filtration. These guppies do best in planted tanks that provide open swimming space along with cover from floating or rooted plants. As omnivores, they should be fed a varied diet of high-quality flakes, micro pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live foods to maintain vibrant coloration and overall health. Phoenix Guppies are peaceful and social, making them excellent tank mates for other small non-aggressive fish. Because they breed easily, hobbyists should expect frequent fry production if males and females are kept together. Regular water changes and stable water parameters are important for preventing stress and maintaining strong immune health.
