Peruvian Yellow Pleco

The Peruvian Yellow Pleco can be wonderful additions to aquariums, offering both aesthetic appeal and algae control. Provide hiding spots and caves for plecos to retreat to during the day. They are nocturnal by nature and tend to be more active at night. While plecos are often regarded as algae-eaters, it's essential to provide them with a balanced diet. They do consume algae but may not rely solely on it. Feed them high-quality sinking pellets or wafers specifically formulated for bottom-dwelling catfish. You can also offer blanched vegetables like zucchini, cucumber, and spinach.
