Marble Hatchetfish

Marble Hatchetfish are unique and captivating aquarium fish known for their distinct body shape and behavior. Their name comes from their resemblance to the shape of a hatchet or axe. Their unique body shape is highly adapted for life near the water's surface. Their bodies are laterally compressed, with a deep, curved belly and a flattened upper body. This shape allows them to easily swim just below the water's surface, where they often spend most of their time.
