The Papua Blue Claw Lobster (Cherax lorentzi) will help keep the aquarium’s substrate clean and look good while doing it. Even though they are called lobster, they are in fact a species of crayfish that are excellent scavengers. The Papua Blue Claw Lobster will feed on leftover food, detritus and just about anything that has settled on the bottom of the aquarium. They have even been known to pick off algae that are growing on the rocks and decoration.
