The name "Halfmoon" is in regard to the Betta's large tail that is in the shape of a halfmoon. This tail variation is highly sought-after and extremely beautiful. The colors on this Betta mimic the Thailand flag's and is rarely seen in the industry, since it is difficult specifically breed those colors.
