Blue Diamond Guppy
The Blue Diamond Guppy is a stunning freshwater livebearer prized for its deep, shimmering blue coloration that sparkles like a gemstone under aquarium lighting. Its elegant flowing tail and metallic body make it a standout in planted and community aquariums. Hardy and adaptable, Blue Diamond Guppies thrive in water temperatures of 72–82°F with a pH between 6.8–7.8. They do best in peaceful community tanks with gentle tankmates and plenty of plants that provide cover and natural grazing areas. As active swimmers and social fish, they look best when kept in small groups, allowing their natural behavior and vibrant colors to shine. These omnivores are easy to feed, happily accepting high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and occasional Gamma frozen foods such as brine shrimp or daphnia to enhance their color and health. Like other guppies, they are livebearers and prolific breeders, often producing fry in well-maintained aquariums.
