The Rili Neocaridina Shrimp is a popular and visually striking freshwater shrimp variety admired for its translucent body sections contrasted with bold patches of red, blue, or other colors. Hardy and beginner-friendly, Rili shrimp thrive in well-cycled aquariums of 5 gallons or larger with stable parameters, gentle filtration, and plenty of biofilm surfaces such as mosses, plants, and driftwood. They prefer neutral to slightly alkaline water (typically pH 6.5–7.8) and temperatures between 68–78°F. Peaceful and social, they coexist well with other non-aggressive tank inhabitants and benefit from a varied diet of specialized shrimp foods, algae, blanched vegetables, and natural grazing. With consistent water quality and proper care, Rili Neocaridina Shrimp are active, easy to breed, and add constant movement and vibrant contrast to planted freshwater aquariums.
