The Picks

I love to start my Friday morning on the floor, checking out all the previous days arrivals; appreciating the job our suppliers do for us (and keeping a lookout for a few choice things to recommend for you, obviously.)

Thats one of the major benefits of long-term vendor relationships--counting on a high-quality, consistent supply with minimal surprises (unless, of course, its an unidentified species or new color variant). Our lines of communication with vendors are a critically important aspect of this process, as the exchange of information ultimately determines the degree of success experienced throughout the entire chain of custody. In the end, the number one priority is the safe travel of our aquatic charges. At QM, we have commitment to providing you the highest quality, most responsibly collected marine life in the industry and our close ties with all our vendors makes this a possibility.

We have a limited selection of show sized Scott's Fairy Wrasses (Cirrhilabrus scottorum cf.) that are stunning. If you've been looking for one, this is certainly that fish. In other high end wrasse news, we have similar number of Lineatus Wrasses (Cirrhilabrus lineatus) that are also jaw dropping. Both are "can't miss" fishes.

On the invert side of the house, there is an excellent supply of Aquacultured Colt Corals (Cladiella sp.) that are a beautiful pink shade and in robust health. For those of you looking for something a little higher end, check out the Rose Bubbles (Entacmaea quadricolor) we have in stock right now; there are some straight up stunners out there right now.
