Bob's Picks

The holiday season has descended upon us, and the time has come for people to start planning gifts. As a result, many of our customers are reporting an upsurge in new aquarium set-ups with an emphasis on the novice aquarist. So make sure that you have enough of the beginner friendly standards to supply this demand as it increases. Nothing grabs sales this time of year like a brilliant showroom, so get your tanks sparkling and well stocked to provide fuel for the holiday gift imagination.

As the season progresses, the pace around here gets just as crazy as it does everywhere else. In the coming weeks we will be offering some very exciting promotions and packages to help make what traditionally is a hectic period a little more hassle free. Of course we will have the usual exceptional selection of species available as well and it goes without saying that a few real eye candy specimens in that show tank can be the difference between a big sale and no sale with some of your more seasoned clientele.

Also, keep in mind that we will have a shortened shipping window the week of November 20th, so be sure to talk to your Customer Service Representative this coming week and avoid the last minute holiday rush. As always we value your continuous support and we will continue to strive to provide you with the highest quality and most sustainable marine specimens the industry has to offer!

Now, on to my Birthday Picks! We have a very cool little fish called the Jaguar Goby (Astrabe sp). These are not seen in the trade much and they have a great black & yellow color pattern the supply is limited so first come, first serve.

The supply of Red & Blue Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis) is very good right now. Our supplier has been sending over some vibrantly colored specimens and their size is perfect for the mid-sized nano aquarium. These look absolutely awesome when they are flashing.

We have some very nicely colored Pin-Striped Reef Basslets (Liopropoma susumi) in stock. I feel this fish is under appreciated as the coloration is very subtle yet exquisite.

We have some massive Toadstool Leather Corals (Sarcophyton sp.) in stock that are totally awesome and would set off a large reef display. Dont worry, we have just about every size in stock to fit any other situation as well.

We have a limited number of the Blue Mini-Polyp (Cervera sp.) available for those that like a challenge. These are a delicate polyp that needs some coaxing to get going but their blue color is fantastic.
