Bob's Picks

This week saw a new supply line from Brazil come on board and the shipment stirred up quite a bit of excitement in house. Not only do we have Atlantic Ocean staples such as Queen Angels (Holacanthus ciliaris), French Angels (Pomacanthus paru), and Fireball Angels (Centropyge aurantonotus) in stock, but also a few odd ball gems were included as well. We also received a few endemic species such as the Sub-Adult Brazilian Wrasse (Halichoeres brasiliensis) and the Deepwater Brazilian Blue Flame Damsel (Chromis flavicauda) .

Here at QM we strive not only to provide the highest quality marine specimens in the industry but also the most varied and consistent inventory as possible. Next week has a few surprises in store as well, so keep a look out and be sure to talk to your Customer Service Representative to hear the latest scoop.

This week we have some Rock Beauty Angels (Holacanthus tricolor) that are among the nicest I've ever seen. The condition and coloration are out of this world.

We have a nice group of medium sized Atlantic Blue Tangs (Acanthurus coeruleus) that are just out of their yellow color morph. They are in excellent shape and will make a nice compliment to a few other Brazilian items you are going to want to check out.

If you wanted to round out this East Americas theme we have going, we have a large number of Black Bar Soldiers (Myripristis sp.) that are schooling tightly and eating like, well, soldiers. These are definitely something different.

On the invert front, we have a very good selection of Green Bubble Anemones (Entacmaea quadricolor) that are in tip top shape. Get these hardy anemones while they last.

From our Reefhab line we have a limited number of some Watermelon Favia (favia sp) that have really nice coloration and patterning. Definitely give these a look.
