Bob's Picks

One of our Short Supply Chain vendors sent us a limited supply of Pinkface / Fivestripe Wrasses (Thalassoma quinquevittatum) that are just plain stunning. Vibrant and Healthy, these will definitely turn heads in any display tank.

An item you may overlook on the stocklist is the Blue Fiddler Crab (Pertrolesthes sp.). This is a stock item we usually have, but the current batch's claws are brilliantly blue and really stick out.

One of our culture facilities sent us a beautiful batch of Aquacultured Saddleback Clownfish (Amphiprion polymnus) that are just beautiful. Great fins, nice big (Large) size, eating everything we show them. This is a good batch.

Another cultured item that we have a good stock of right now is the A/C Aiptasia Eating Monoco Peppermint Shrimp (Lysmata seticaudata). These are a bit smaller than the Peppermint shrimp you are used to, but they do a number on aiptasia. They will also consume yellow polyps, so be wary of that when you place them in a display.

Our Short Supply Chain in Fiji has been sending us some really vibrant MAC Fiji Blue Devil Damsels (Chrysiptera taupou). Yes, they are a little pugnacious, but nothing else has electric color like these do. Just house them with like minded tankmates.

Lastly, I was talking to a customer earlier in the week who was surprised to hear we have an excellent selection of Japanese and American Koi here. So in case you didn't know either just go to www.aquatropic.com and use your QM log in to browse list pricing and see all the other freshwater stock we have available.
