Photo of the Week - Ghost Eel (Pseudechidna brummeri)

Pseudechidna brummeri is commonly called "Ghost Eel" and "White Ribbon Eel". They are found widely distributed in the tropical Red Sea and Pacific Oceans, generally in shallow water (less than 30ft). They usually inhabit reef flats and shallow protected lagoons. They reach a maximum size of roughly 40 inches.
