The Picks

This is an ever evolving industry and very few things are written in stone when it comes to what gets collected or aquacultured and why. Of course there are a few industry standards that have been desirable for years and continue to be today. However, what of the dozens, maybe hundreds of fish unique in either behavior or subtle color variations? Well many of these fish make excellent aquarium inhabitants based on their adult size and or interesting behaviors, and with the increased prevalence of LED lighting, some of them are showing some coloration that we hadn't previously seen. Point being, don't overlook some of the things like Aquacultured Neon Sharknose Gobies (Elacatinus evelynae) or Oriental Flying Gurnards (Oriental Flying Gurnards.) when looking for that little something different.

For those of you looking for something a bit more jaw dropping, we have a select few SSC Banded Angels (Apolemichthys arcuatus) and they are stunning. Ask your Account Manager about these quick.

On the invert side of the house, we have some stellar Aquacultured Blue Eye Flowerpot Corals (Goniopora sp.) that are really brilliantly colored. Our stock photo does not do this batch justice.

We also have the best batch of Pink Palys (Palythoa sp.) I have seen in a long time. Near perfect coverage of dense, bright pink polyps. Make sure these get enough light when you put them in your system.
