The Picks

Here at Quality Marine we go to exceptional lengths to ensure that you get the most exceptional animals. From Short Supply Vendors to mandatory holding periods and the highest quality foods & filtration we really leave no stone unturned. In some cases it means we pay more for them and or have them shipped with less density. The point of this is that sometimes doing things the right way costs more money. Which means that on occasion, you pay a little bit more for a Quality Marine critter.

So now that you've gone and made the same commitment we do to a higher quality specimen, what are you doing to let your customers know about it? Bar none, the easiest and most engaging way to let your customers know that you take quality seriously is to add QM tank tags to your next order. We spent a ton of time and resources to make this system available to you and it's pretty amazing.

For those of you who don't know, tank tags are a QM branded friction sticker that you can apply to the front of any glass display. It shows what the fish is, when it was shipped out, and it has a barcode and a blank price line for you to fill in. Just get it wet and stick it on, when that fish get's sold, they just peel right off. The "stickers" also have QR codes which gives anyone with a smartphone access to all sorts of data about the fish they're looking at, even if none of your employees are available to help them at that moment...

This week we have an excellent batch of Aquacultured Ocellaris Clowns (Amphiprion ocellaris) in stock right now that are in very nice shape and ready for new homes. Ask your Account Manager about some special lot pricing on them as well.

From one of our Australian Short Supply Chains, we have a gorgeous group of Golden Butterflies (Chaetodon aureofasciatus). These are a bit more limited in number so don't hesitate if you are interested. Very robustly healthy.

On the invert side of the house, that same Australian source sent us a gorgeous batch of Sunset Fungia (Fungia sp). These are glowing orange with excellent polyp extension. Your customers won't be disappointed.

For those of you looking for aquacultured inverts, the Orange Crush Acans (Acanthastrea echinata) we have in stock right now are a perfect combination of large fleshy polyps and glowing color combos; a good range of sizes is available as well. The early bird will get the biggest gorgeous ones.
