The Picks

As many of you know, there is an ongoing labor dispute happening at docks around the country. With few exceptions, livestock is never transported that way, but salt is, and there are other complications that arise from this as well. One thing that is concerning is that everyone is looking for other ways to get their stock into the country, and as a result, air cargo has become much more congested and in some instances has been cut off on some passenger airlines.

At Quality Marine, this is just a bump in the road. Our deep portfolio of trusted vendors and decades of experience importing livestock has prepared us well for just such an emergency, and so for us, it isn't one. If you are looking for an item, it's probably here. The stock list looks very healthy, and so does the stock.

There are a few things in house right now that we haven't seen in a while like the Aquacultured Eviota Gobies (Eviota sp). We have a nice selection of a variety of species. For those of you looking for super cool nano or pico reef fish, these are hard to beat. On that same wavelength, we are proud to announce the return of Aquacultured Green Mandarin Gobies (Synchiropus splendidus). These are a great small size, eating a wide variety of foods and plain old stunning to look at. These will sell fast so call your Account Manager right away.

There is big news on the invert side of the house too in the return of our Aquacultured Cook Islands Maxima Clams (Tridacna maxima). These are always mindblowing, and this shipment is no different. Clearly the cream of the clam crop. Also cultured, be sure to check out the Aquacultured Joker Palys. This is a Paly everyone loves and this batch of discs have really good coverage.
