Photos of the Week

Sometimes we receive fish, coral, or invertebrates that we just can't help but want to share with all of our customers and website visitors. Since we can't always get enough for everyone, especially in the case of the rarer species, we like to post pictures on our site so that all can enjoy. Here are two from this week:

The first photo is of a hybrid Centropyge angelfish. This isn't the first of its kind, but we find with each hybrid, there are unique subtleties that set them apart from others that we've seen. This hybrid is what we believe to be a cross between the species C. ferrugatus and C. loriculus.

This next picture is of a baby Harlequin Tusk which was sent to us by one of our great Australian suppliers. This little fella was just barely over an inch in length and surely one of the smallest we've ever seen of this species.
