The Striated Frogfish also called the Tiger Anglerfish (Antennarius striatus)
The Striated Frogfish- (Antennarius striatus) as pictured below can be distinguished from the closely related and similar looking Hispid Frogfish- (Antennarius hispidus) by looking at the "bait" (esca) they use to lure fish in.
Antennarius striatus (below) has an esca or lure that resembles a worm, and Antennarius hispidus, has an esca that resembles a pom-pom.
