Halichoeres melanurus wrasses are sometimes called Pinstripe wrasses, though on the terminal males like the one pictured, those pinstripes are often hidden by solid bars of purple / red coloration. These are very hardy in captivity if offered a quality food and a sandbed to sleep in.
