Photo Of The Week - Yellowspotted Dwarf Scorpion (Sebastapistes cyanostigma)
The Yellowspotted Dwarf is one of the most sought out scorpion fish in the trade and we finally have it in our catalog. They are commonly found in shallow waters hiding around the crevice rocks underneath Pocillopora, Millepora, and Styllophora corals all over the Indo-Pacific ocean, which makes them a reef safe fish. We recommend exercising caution when choosing tank mates because the scorpion fish are known predators will feed on crustaceans and smaller fish. Also, we can't stress enough the need to handle this fish with extra care to avoid unnecessary injury due to their venomous spines located in their dorsal and pectoral fins.
