Photo Of The Week - Red Fin Waspfish (Paracentropogon rubripinnis)
The Red Fin Waspfishs bold colors can add an edge to the appearance to your aquarium. This Waspfish has a peaceful temperament and is reef compatible. However, if there is not enough food present, they may nip at some soft corals. They are a bottom dwelling fish that prefers a sandy substrate with plenty of hiding places. Choose tank mates that are similar in size and temperament. They may not eat at first, so try target feeding frozen meaty foods during acclimation. Caution must be exercised when handling and working in the aquarium because this fish has venomous spines.
