Photo Of The Week - Juvenile Blue Angelfish (Holacanthus isabelita)
As you know, many juvenile angels are exciting fish for hobbyists because they can witness them change as they grow in their home aquarium. The Blue Angelfish will need an aquarium that is large enough since they can grow up to 7 inches. A natural grazer, exercise caution when adding to a reef aquarium for it tends to nip on coral polyps and clam mantles. Ensure its happiness by providing plenty of live rock for the angel to graze on and hide in. Since it is a wild fish, some targeted feeding maybe needed at first to entice it to eat. To maintain its optimal health feed it a variety of foods with meat, vegetables and sponge.
