Photo Of The Week - Aquacultured White Blenny (Meiacanthus smithii)
The Aquacultured White Blenny is an elegant and simple beauty that is well suited for the mid-level hobbyist. This is a specimen that will grow up to 3 inches so provide it with a tank that is 10 gallons or larger. They have a somewhat peaceful temperament. They can live with tank mates including other blennies of its own kind as long as you choose its tank mates carefully. You wouldn't for this blenny to feel threaten by its tank mates and use its poisonous bite against them and then finding injured or dead fish in your tank. You may include live rocks in the aquarium for this blenny to feed on small crustaceans or decorative rocks for them to find refuge from the light. Keep this fish in optimal health by providing with a varied diet that consists of frozen and fry foods.
