Photo Of The Week - Dotted Cardinalfish (Fowleria isostigma)
The Dotted Cardinal is a perfect starter fish for the beginner hobbyist. It is known to be a hardy and a peaceful fish that will adapt easily to the home aquarium. In the wild, the Dotted Cardinal dwells on towards the bottom of reefs. It prefers this area because the water is murky and there are plenty of caves to hide in from predators. Although this is its home preference, its new home doesn't necessarily have to be a reef setting or have murky water. Just make sure its new home has plenty of hiding places and peaceful tank mates. Provide a meaty diet for this carnivore fish for continued health.
