The Ocellate Damselfish (Pomacentrus vaiuli) have been arriving with exceptional coloration and robustness. Exhibiting vivid orange and blue coloration due to the South Pacific origin of these particular specimens, this damsel, like most others, makes a very hardy addition to most aquariums.
A larger sized Pomacentrid, this species may exhibit the usual territorialism associated with the genus so introduction to reef aquariums should be considered carefully. Feeding is not an issue as most foods are accepted readily. If looking for a somewhat uncommon, yet hardy and very colorful fish, this one definitely fits the bill.
