Bob's Picks

This coming week is Interzoo being held in Nuremberg, Germany from May 29 to June1. For those not familiar with the event, this is the worlds largest trade show for the international pet supplies industry. This is a great opportunity to view and learn about new and current products, whats happening on a global scale in our industry and to meet pet industry professionals from around the world. More information about this biennial fair can be found at www.interzoo.com.

This week, our Short Supply Chain in Fiji sent us a great selection of MAC Coral Beauty Angels (Centropyge bispinosus) that are just perfect. We have a good range of sizes and we have them on a special pricing tier as well. Check out our weekly promos or contact your sales rep for details.

Another one of our Short Supply Chains in the South Pacific sent us a limited number of Changing Imperator Angels (Pomacanthus imperator). This designation spans a good amount of color difference and some of these are primarily juvenile barring and others are almost done with the transformation. Regardless, all of them look stunning.

From one of our aquaculture facilities, the A/C Clarkii Clowns (Amphiprion clarkii) are in really nice shape and in a good range of sizes. This is probably the cultured clownfish most likely to dive into just about any host anemone (or anything that resembles one.)

We generally have a great selection of Brittle Stars, because they are so useful in reef aquariums, right now we have some Red Brittle Stars (Ophiocoma) that should be on your next order. These are gorgeous deep red and just perfect.

We have a very limited supply of large Green Polyp Cat's Paw (Stylophora sp.) that are definitely gorgeous enough and big enough to be show pieces, or even use as mother colonies for propagation.

We generally have a great supply and variation of aquacultured Zoanthids and Palythoas, but we very rarely get Mowie Wowie Palys (Palythoa sp.) and we have a limited supply of them right now.
