Bob's Picks

We are very pleased to now offer Tank Raised Banggai Cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) to our customers. These come from yet another new supply line for us and we are quite impressed with the quality of these specimens. The fish are in excellent shape, so be sure to give them a try. Since these are truly aquacultured, you can expect that their sizing will be a little smaller than wild specimens and you should be prepared to keep up with their fast juvenile metabolisms. These are still growing, so a higher frequency of feedings will be necessary to ensure they stay vibrant and healthy. Here we are feeding them a wide range of prepared foods to give them a varied diet.

This is another addition to our increasing daily inventory of truly aquacultured species and we hope you find them to be as exciting as we do. Be sure to speak to your Customer Service Representative about our special introductory promotion.

Theres always something out of the ordinary here at QM and this week is no exception. From our MAC Certified Short Supply Chain in Fiji we have a very limited number of pairs of Nahackys Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus nahackyi) available. We receive these in very limited numbers for only a short period of time so I expect these beauties to go fast!

We are strong supporters of tank raised Seahorses and this week we have available the Pacific Seahorse (Hippocampus ingens). They are eating frozen Mysids and are doing great!

The Aquacultured Blue Mushroom Polyps (Actinodiscus sp) are exceptional this week and deserve a mention. Our source in Indonesia has been working really hard to make this a high quality, consistent item and it really shows. Be sure to give one a try.

We have a very limited number of juvenile Joculator Angels (Centropyge joculator) available. These would look totally awesome in just about any display and they are about 1 in size, truly remarkable!
