Photo Of The Week - Rhinopias Yellow Frilly (Rhinopias frondosa)
The Yellow Frilly Rhinopia is sought by hobbyists seeking unusual beauties for their aquarium. This is one large scorpion fish, so make sure to house it in a large aquarium of at least 100 gallons. Handle this fish with extra care for they are poisonous and you could easily be injured by its sting. They are predators, so we don't recommend adding them to a community or reef tank with small inverts for they may become a snack for this fish. During acclimation they maybe finicky eaters and may need targeted feedings. Keep them in optimal health by feeding them a variety of frozen meaty foods.
