Photo Of The Week - Aquacultured Colored Ingens Seahorse (Hippocampus ingens)
The Aquaculture Colored Ingens Seahorses are back in stock! They are medium size and come in different hues of yellow. They maybe mediums now but they are known as one of the larger seahorses species that can grow up to 12 inches, needless to say that they need to be housed in a larger aquarium. Aquacultured specimens are usually always hardier than their wild counterparts and this is not different for the seahourse. This comes in handy during feeding since they will readily accept frozen prepared foods. Choosing appropriate tank mates can be a challenge, so be sure to choose only very timid and peaceful species like mandarins or pipefish. These are ideal since there will not be any competition for food or territory.
