Hairy Green Slime B-Gone safely rids your aquarium or reef tank of unsightly Hairy Green Slime (also known as hair algae).

Safe for fish and other desirable tank life (Try to keep Hairy Green Slime B-Gone from direct contact with corals. Coralline algae may be damaged by Hairy Green Slime B-Gone).

Remove as much of the Hairy Green Slime as you can before treatment. Turn off all tank circulation. Use 1 tsp per 50 gal aquarium water. Take a measured amount of Hairy Green Slime B-Gone and put it in the applicator bottle. Apply directly onto the slime - the treated area will begin bubbling. Leave for 2 hours. Resume normal tank circulation. The next day, the slime should be gone and the rock exposed. Use only one application per day. Repeat daily as needed.

Before using Hairy Green Slime B-Gone, make sure your aquarium water tests meet the following conditions:

pH level 8.0 - 8.3Phosphate level 0 - 0.25 mg/lNitrate level 0 - 0.5 mg/lAmmonia level 0 mg/lNitrite level 0 mg/l

Once you kill the hairy green slime you don't want it to come back, so make sure your water quality is good and waste levels are low. Avoid direct contact with corals. If some Hairy Green Slime B-Gone happens to land on your corals, just "blow" it off with an empty applicator bottle. Coralline algae may be damaged by Hairy Green Slime B-Gone.
