The line of Eco MINI Aquariums, developed by EcoSystem® Aquarium have finally arrived to Quality Marine. These new high end mini-aquariums offer the aquarist a sleek and elegant aquarium with a dizzying array of customizable options.These aquariums are made of curved rimless glass and unlike other nano aquariums they come with a limited 5 year warranty. The Eco MINI's are offered in two standard sizes: a 14 Gallon/52 liter tank ideal for a desktop and a larger 28 Gallon/104 liter tank. Both sizes have an available matching hardwood epoxy coated stand with a sleek glass door and built in shelf storage.

The Eco MINI is a high end nano system which allows hobbyists to keep reef inhabitants with a high degree of success. The MINI has an open top so that heat can dissipate unlike an enclosed nano system. The MINI also has a fan built into the filter cover to keep a steady flow of air blowing across the water to ensure a proper temperature. In addition, the MINI can also be outfitted with an optional 7 watt UV filter which can be added into a chamber in the enclosed filter. The UV will help to insure proper fish health and prevent parasitic infections.There are two options for the type of lighting over the system: Metal Halide (70w and 150w versions) or the economical T5 fixtures. The Metal Halide comes with an adjustable bar so the height of the lights can be increased after a bulb change to prevent any corals from being burned from the new light intensity.The refugium models each come with 2 Miracle Mud trays. Once a year you replace 1 tray to maintain the proper level of trace minerals inside the main system. All the models come with an Eco Phos filter cartridge containing both a high grade phosphate free carbon and Eco Phos (granular ferric oxide) media for quick phosphate removal.
